Tavern’s Market is a secondhand market for board games and tabletop RPGs in Nijmegen – a cozy, low-threshold event for people who love games, fantasy, and coming together outdoors.

⛺ Sellers: setup from 09:00, breakdown until 18:00

♻️ What is Tavern’s Market?
Tavern’s Market is a mix between a flea market and a fantasy convention – a place where you can buy, sell, or trade secondhand board games, TTRPG books, dice, accessories, miniatures, and more. Just lay out your items on a blanket or table in the park, surrounded by fellow enthusiasts. There will also be a small number of local vendors offering their unique goods.
We believe in sustainability, accessibility, and community: give your games a second life and meet like-minded nerds.

Everyone is welcome to sell – whether you’re clearing out your shelf or passing on a beloved campaign. You can choose from:
🎒 Blanket spot – €2.50
Bring your own blanket and set up your items on the grass.
🛖 Vendor stall – €20
For local shops and creators.
Please note: there is no electricity available on-site. You are welcome to bring extra chairs if needed.

There is no formal program or entertainment – it’s all about browsing, meeting people, trading, and enjoying the atmosphere.

Decorate a ceramic tile with a positive message, inspiring quote or a design that makes you smile. Choose from a wide selection of summer, fantasy, TTRPG, D&D and LGBTQIA+ stickers, then bring your creation to life with colorful permanent Posca markers.

Build Your Own Dungeon Tiles
Ever wanted to build your own dungeon?
At Tavern’s Market, you can try your hand at terrain crafting and create your own Dungeon Tile Set using XPS foam!
Using XPS foam, aluminum foil, Shifting Lands texture rollers and other useful crafting tools, you’ll learn how to create realistic stone floors and dungeon tiles perfect for Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop RPGs.

This workshop normally costs €15, but during Tavern’s Market you can join for only €10!
You’ll leave with the foundation of your very own dungeon, ready to be expanded at home with walls, pillars, details and paint. Before long, you’ll be building entire dungeons for your adventures!
